Technical Advice
We undergo full consultation with our dental partners and their patients before making recommendations.
The making and inserting of a fixed restoration is a complex process that, on occasion, may add challenges and complications. Throughout the process, we act as advisors - a competent, committed and reliable partner.
Together with the attending dentists, we analyse and evaluate the initial situation and support our partners in the safe selection of material, shape and colour of the denture. The production itself involves state of the art techniques and is based on a precise and perfected manufacturing process.
Whether through veneers (facings), zirconia crowns, lithium-disilicate crowns, ceramic inlays or composite inlays, an aesthetic and precisely fitting restoration is absolutely achievable today thanks to the variety of materials and techniques available.
We consider the selection of materials and the precise implementation of form and colour of the restoration to be a major step of the process.
At Laboratorio Dental Krenmayr we use the most modern and innovative materials available when making a fixed restoration.

Composite
We rely on SR Adoro, a clinically proven micro-filled light and heat curing veneering composite. This composite scores with expressive aesthetics and easy handling. Optimum material properties are achieved through the combination of inorganic micro-fillers and the matrix with the remuneration under light and heat (104 degrees). The homogenous surface and efficient polishing ensure a long lasting shine and a strong resistance to discoloration and plaque. This material has high wearing comfort value and is used by us for the Inlay-onlay technique and long-term temporaries.

GC Initial LiSi Press
High Strength Lithium Disilicate with HDM (High Density Micronization) Technology is a revolutionary new pressable ceramic. It combines unparalleled strength and due to their natural color performance and excellent light transmittance, lithium disilicate restorations guarantee an exceptional aesthetics. The restorations can be produced either highly-aesthetically blinded or fully anatomically.
Further advantages are :
Unsurpassed flexural strength(>450MPa)
Rich, warm and bright colours with excellent fluorescence
Predictable material and color stability after repeated firings
Low abrasion and wear resistant
Unparalleled aescethetics
The spectrum ranges from thin veneers (o.3mm) and minimally invasive inlays and onlays to crowns up to three-unit anterior bridges ,three unit bridges in the premolar region, three unit bridges to the second premolar on an implant pillar and implant super structures.

PFM
In the processing, we use a high-melting metal ceramic with unique optical and physical properties, which allows a non-porous stratification and a highly aesthetic result. We recommend a conventional preparation with a ceramic shoulder to achieve a smooth transition in the gingival area. For metal structures we offer either semi-precious alloys or non- precious metal alloys.
For temporaries we use only high quality plastic material. The advantages of this are high tensile strength, temperature resistance and an aesthetically optimal temporary restoration.

Veneers
Veneers are thin shells of ceramic, which are bonded by means of adhesive cement on to the tooth. A key advantage of veneers is that, depending on the initial situation, very little to nothing has to be removed from the natural tooth substance. Based on your preference and starting point we use lithium disilicate or feldspathic ceramics to manufacture the veneers. We also recommend inserting the veneers with Variolink Veneer Try-in (glycerol gel) prior to cementation. This method allows you to check the final colour effect and accurate fit.
As a metal-free material, zircon has excellent health-conscious features and does not trigger allergies or intolerances in the mouth. In the processing of zircon a precise fit in hundredths area is now the norm. Further advantages are durability, high strength and the ability to match the individual tooth colour.

We have incorporated the latest Medit scanner and Exocad software to offer the best service.
For analogue model production, our laboratory uses the tried and tested system from Amman-Girbach.
For digital production, we rely on the Formlab print system.
The exposure of the preparation margins and the control of the marginal edge closure take place with the aid of a Zeiss magnifying glass to achieve the best possible precision.
We mill the zirconia crowns from the zircon material from Zirkonzahn, DD contrast, 3M Lava and Ivoclar, according to our customers' wishes.
For the production of the lithium disilicate crowns we use Lisi Press and Amber Haas with the EP5000 press system from Ivoclar.
For the production of composite inlays we choose GC and Anaxdent
